How to Make an AI Pet Video from a Photo

Choose a useful cat or dog photo, compare real Bad Times AI examples, and prepare a 720p portrait video for TikTok or Instagram Reels.

Updated MakeDogSing

A clear photo gives an AI pet video a better starting point. MakeDogSing’s Bad Times AI for Pets turns one cat or dog photo into an upright, expressive performance with paw gestures and an original musical score. You choose the photo and length; the effect supplies the motion reference.

1. Choose one pet with its paws in view

Use a sharp, well-lit photo of one cat or dog, with its face, body and paws visible. A front-facing view is a useful starting point. Avoid group photos, motion blur, cropped paws and furniture covering the legs. Supported uploads are JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 4 MB.

A different pose can change how much the model must invent. A clear photo helps, but cannot guarantee accurate anatomy or identity. Human portraits are outside this effect’s supported use.

2. Watch a real example before choosing your length

The effect page shows approved MakeDogSing outputs and lets you switch back to the source photo. Compare the movement and visual style with the result you want.

Both options produce a 720p, 9:16 portrait MP4 with original music:

  • 5 seconds, 100 credits: a short reaction or compact performance.
  • 10 seconds, 200 credits: more time for the paw gestures and body movement to develop.

Longer does not automatically mean better. Start with the length that suits your post. One-time credit packs: $5.99 / 200 credits · $8.99 / 300 credits · $14.99 / 600 credits · $27.99 / 1200 credits. No subscription; applicable tax is shown at checkout. The Pricing page shows current purchase availability.

3. Submit once, then follow the saved task

Upload the required photos and confirm permission, then use your own email to buy a credit pack. Confirmed payment reserves the credits for this video and starts generation automatically. Existing members can sign in to use their balance. Viewing and downloading require verified sign-in with the same purchase email; new users complete email verification and registration first. Once accepted, the task keeps running. After signing in with the same email, you can follow it in My creations. You can leave the page and return later; work notifications, if enabled, email you when the file is ready.

Allow time for processing. The pug example recorded on 2026-10-20 produced a roughly 9.7-second clip; video rendering took 7m 12s, excluding photo/pose preparation and export. This is one historical observation, not a current waiting-time estimate or delivery promise. Queues and input photos affect processing time. Refreshing the page does not create a new paid attempt. A confirmed technical failure returns the task’s credits.

4. Check the result before sharing

Play the full video and check paws, limbs, face, background and the last frame. AI may alter details or introduce artifacts. The showcased outputs demonstrate the effect, not a guarantee for every photo. For a serious quality issue, contact MakeDogSing with the creation ID and follow the refund policy.

5. Download, then add your caption in the social app

Download the MP4 from your creation and upload it to TikTok, Instagram Reels or another app that accepts the format. Watch the platform’s final preview to check cropping and overlays before publishing. Social platforms can apply their own processing and requirements.

MakeDogSing includes its original Night Bounce score. It does not include a viral song recording. If you want a platform song instead, use audio available to your account in that social app and follow its usage rules; commercial accounts can have different permissions.
